William Arden Books in Order
Dennis Lynds writes under the pen name William Arden, crafting engaging stories for young readers. His juvenile detective series, The Three Investigators, began in 1968 with The Mystery of the Moaning Cave and concluded in 1989 with Hot Wheels, spanning fourteen novels. As Arden, he also penned five novels featuring private eye Kane Jackson, a former military policeman turned industrial security specialist. The first Jackson novel, A Dark Power, was published in 1968, while the highly-acclaimed short story "Success of a Mission" earned Lynds a finalist spot for the 1968 Edgar Award for Best Short Fiction.
