A Bram Stoker Award winner and Pushcart Prize nominee, Ochse's multiple New Mexico Arizona Book Awards attest to his literary excellence. With nearly thirty books across various genres, he has established himself as a versatile and accomplished author. His military supernatural series, SEAL Team 666, has been optioned for a film starring Dwayne Johnson, while his military sci-fi trilogy, starting with Grunt Life, has been praised for its nuanced portrayal of soldiers in both peace and war. Ochse's writing extends to literary fiction, poetry, comics, and non-fiction, with his work appearing in DC Comics, IDW Comics, and esteemed literary journals.
