Walter R. Borneman Books in Order

Walter R. Borneman is a renowned American historian and lawyer. He holds a B.A. from Western State College of Colorado, which he earned in 1974, and an M.A. in history, also from Western State College of Colorado, awarded in 1975 for his thesis on "Irwin : silver camp of the Ruby Mountains." Borneman furthered his education by obtaining a law degree from the University of Denver in 1981, after which he practiced law. As a prolific author, Borneman has written extensively on 18th and 19th century United States history. His notable works include several acclaimed books, with his most recent publication, The Admirals Nimitz, Halsey, Leahy, and King--the 5-star Admirals Who Won the War at Sea, released in May 2012, solidifying his position as a leading historian of his generation.
