W. Paul Anderson is a globe-trotting author, whose extensive travels in Asia, Europe, and Latin America have profoundly influenced his writing. He has spent years at sea, logging over 25,000 miles of coastal and ocean sailing, twice crossing the Atlantic as a delivery sailor, and partnering in a Caribbean sailing charter operation. Anderson's diverse work experience includes stints as a deckhand in Monte Carlo, a fruit picker in Switzerland, and a construction worker in Australia. His literary excerpts have appeared in various publications, including <i>Queen Street Quarterly</i>, <i>Prairie Fire</i>, and <i>La Crónica</i>.
