Tom Papa is a renowned American stand-up comedian, actor, writer, producer, and television/radio host. As the head writer and a regular performer on Live from Here, he brings his unique voice to a wide audience. With a career spanning over three decades, Papa began in New York City in 1993, honing his craft in open mics and hosting at the esteemed Stand Up New York comedy club. He toured with Jerry Seinfeld after meeting him at the Comedy Cellar, and his breakout came with the release of his debut comedy album Calm, Cool, & Collected in 2005. His one-man show Only Human opened at the Montreal Just for Laughs Comedy Festival, and he has since recorded several critically acclaimed stand-up specials for Comedy Central, including Tom Papa Live in New York City, directed by Rob Zombie.
