Tim Powers is a celebrated American science fiction and fantasy author, renowned for his critically acclaimed novels that blend historical events with occult and supernatural elements. Twice a winner of the World Fantasy Award, Powers is particularly known for his "secret histories," which reimagine famous people and events through a lens of mysticism and the unknown.
