Tim Ellis is a British author living in Cheshire with his wife and one ShihTzu. He has a distinguished background in the military, having served twenty-two years in the Royal Army Medical Corps, where he achieved the rank of Warrant Officer Class 1 (Regimental Sergeant Major) before leaving in 1993. Ellis then transitioned into education, working as a senior financial manager in secondary schools and an associate lecturer/tutor at Lincoln and Anglia Ruskin Universities. He also served as a consultant for the National College of School Leadership and held the position of Head and teacher of Behavioural Sciences (Psychology/Sociology) in a secondary school. With a PhD in Educational Management and an MA in Education, Ellis brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his writing. He began writing fiction full-time in 2009.
