Thomas Benigno is a seasoned attorney and multifaceted artist. As a practicing attorney in Long Island, he has spent decades honing his craft in various facets of law. Benigno graduated from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 1979 and was quickly fast-tracked to an Associate Attorney position with the New York City Legal Aid Society in the Bronx. There, he took on some of the city's most challenging cases, including defending the notorious Spiderman Rapist. He is driven by a strong sense of justice and a willingness to tackle cases others deem unwinnable. A standout moment in his career came when he won a high-profile case for a teacher's aide accused of molesting students, earning him recognition in the New York City Legal Aid Society's Annual Report. After a successful career in criminal law, Benigno transitioned to real estate and business law, and also pursued his passion for acting, starring in film and theater productions, including an award-winning short film and the Broadway show Burn the Floor.
