Tessa Dawn is a multifaceted author with a passion for storytelling that spans genres from poetry to Dark Fantasy/Gothic Romance. Born and raised in Colorado, she developed a deep affinity for the Rocky Mountains, which has influenced her writing. Tessa holds a degree in psychology and has worked in both criminal justice and mental health. She later pursued a master's degree in nonprofit management. As a child, Tessa began writing, and by the time she graduated high school, she had amassed a collection of short stories and novels. Her diverse body of work includes poetry, greeting cards, workbooks for kids with autism, and academic curricula. Tessa's Dark Fantasy/Gothic Romance novels represent a return to her creative roots and a testament to her flair for storytelling. Tessa is a member of NINC, SFWA, and RWA(PAN). Currently, she resides in the Colorado suburbs with her two children and a mischievous cat. Her ultimate dream is to own horses and a German Shepherd in a rural setting. When not writing, Tessa can be found in her beloved mountains.
