Tanya Huff Books in Order

Tanya Huff is a Canadian author known for her work in the science fiction and fantasy genres. Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, she considers herself a Maritimer, a connection she attributes to her birthplace overlooking the ocean. Raised in Kingston, Ontario, during the late sixties and early seventies, she developed a unique perspective on the era. Her time in the Canadian Naval Reserve, where she served as a cook, provided her with a different kind of experience. After graduating with a degree in Radio and Television Arts from Ryerson Polytechnical Institute, she began her writing career. Tanya spent eight years working at Bakka, North America's oldest surviving science fiction book store, balancing her full-time job with writing seven books and nine short stories. Her writing career took off in 1992 with the publication of her first novel.
