Susan Page Davis Books in Order

Susan Page Davis is a native of central Maine, where she grew up on a small farm surrounded by a loving family. Her roots in small-town America have significantly influenced her writing, with many of her books set in Maine. After marrying her husband, Jim, a native of Oregon, they spent time in his birth state before returning to Maine to be near her family. This decision allowed their six children to grow up surrounded by their extended family. As an avid reader of history and horses, Davis's love for these subjects often intersects with her writing, particularly in her historical novels. Her passion for genealogy has also led her to explore fascinating family histories, some of which have inspired fictional characters. A member of the DAR, Davis has always been fascinated by her family's history, and some of her quirkier ancestors have even made appearances in her stories. Davis's diverse writing experience spans freelancing for the Central Maine Morning Sentinel and publishing nonfiction articles in several magazines. Her short stories have also been featured in Woman's World, Grit, and Alfred Hitchcock's Mystery Magazine.
