Susan Krinard is a multifaceted author, trained as an artist with a BFA in Illustration from the California College of Arts and Crafts. Her passion for storytelling led her to transition into writing in 1992, after a friend encouraged her to try her hand at crafting a romance novel. With a lifelong fascination for science fiction and fantasy, Susan explored the romance genre and discovered a unique blend of the two. Her breakout novel, Prince of Wolves, a romance featuring a werewolf hero, marked a significant milestone in her career. This early success led to a three-book contract with Bantam, and the novel became a bestseller. Since then, Susan has written and published over fourteen paranormal and fantasy novels, including Lord of the Beasts, which appeared on the New York Times Bestseller List. She currently resides in New Mexico with her husband, their pets, and a passion for music, old movies, nature, and handmade crafts.
