Suanne Laqueur, a former professional dancer and teacher, has transformed her creative energy from choreographing music to crafting immersive stories. Her writing has been praised as "Therapy Fiction," "Emotionally Intelligent Romance," and "Contemporary Train Wreck," showcasing her unique ability to weave complex emotions into her narratives. Laqueur's notable works include the Grand Prize-winning novel <i>An Exaltation of Larks</i> in the 2017 Writer's Digest Awards and the first-place winner in the 2019 North Street Book Prize. Her debut novel <i>The Man I Love</i> received a gold medal in the 2015 Readers' Favorite Book Awards and was named Best Debut in the Feathered Quill Book Awards. Her follow-up novel <i>Give Me Your Answer True</i> also earned a gold medal at the 2016 Readers' Favorite Book Awards. Laqueur holds a double major in dance and theater from Alfred University and taught at the Carol Bierman School of Ballet Arts in Croton-on-Hudson for ten years.
