S.R. Mallery, a multifaceted artist and writer, has seamlessly transitioned between various creative pursuits throughout her life. As a classically trained singer and composer, she has brought her musical talents to the professional world of production art and calligraphy. Her award-winning quilting career, coupled with her experience as an ESL and reading instructor, has uniquely informed her writing. Mallery's short stories have been featured in publications such as Snowy Egret, Transcendent Visions, The Storyteller, and Down In the Dirt, since 2008. Her debut novel, Unexpected Gifts, marks the beginning of her fiction career, while her short story collection, Sewing Can Be Dangerous and Other Small Threads, is forthcoming in late 2013.
