Sparkle Hayter is a Canadian journalist and author, celebrated for her diverse career and impactful writing. Born in Pouce Coupe, British Columbia, she later moved to Edmonton, Alberta, and graduated from New York University in 1986 with a degree in film and television production. After transitioning from journalism, she pursued a career as a comic and writer, publishing her first novel. She has been a regular participant on CNN's talk show and appeared on various television and radio programs. Currently, Hayter resides in Paris, where she is working on her next novel.
