Shirlee Busbee is a celebrated American author known for her captivating novels. Born on August 9, 1941, in San Jose, California, she grew up in a family of naval officers, traveling the world and instilling in her a sense of adventure. After attending school in Morocco and graduating from Burbank Business College of Santa Rosa in 1962, Shirlee embarked on a career that spanned various roles, including receptionist, plant supervisor, and secretary, where she met her lifelong friend and mentor, Rosemary Rogers. Since her debut in 1977, Shirlee has penned 18 novels, seven of which have become New York Times bestsellers, selling over nine million copies worldwide.
