Sherryl Clark Books in Order

Sherryl Clark is a versatile author with a passion for storytelling that spans multiple genres. Although she initially explored crime fiction, her focus has shifted towards crafting engaging children's and young adult books. Her debut crime novel, "Trust Me, I'm Dead", was shortlisted for the CWA Debut Dagger in 2009 and later published by Verve Books in the UK. This experience solidified her connection to the character, a complex and gruff woman, and inspired her to persevere through nine drafts. A prolific poet and writer, Clark has published two collections of poetry and over 60 children's and young adult books worldwide. Notable works include the verse novel "Farm Kid", winner of the 2005 NSW Premier's Literary Award for Children's Books, and the CBCA Honour Book "Sixth Grade Style Queen (Not!)". Clark continues to write and teach creative writing at Victoria University TAFE, inspiring the next generation of writers.
