Shannon McNear Books in Order

Shannon McNear is a prolific author with a storied writing career spanning decades. She penned her first novel at fifteen, but it took over thirty years for her first book contract to materialize. In the intervening years, she graduated from high school, attended college, and raised a large family, eventually settling in North Dakota after two decades in Charleston, South Carolina. Her notable works include the novella "Defending Truth" in the "A Pioneer Christmas Collection" (Barbour, 2013 & 2015), which earned her a 2014 RITA nomination. A member of ACFW and RWA, she writes regularly for Colonial Quills and is represented by Tamela Hancock Murray of the Steve Laube Agency. When not writing, she enjoys exploring local history, the outdoors, and homeschooling her children.
