Shamim Sarif is an award-winning novelist, screenwriter, and director. She is the author of several critically acclaimed novels, including The World Unseen, which won the Betty Trask award and the Pendleton May First Novel award. Her work often explores themes of love, identity, and social justice. Her novels, such as I Can't Think Straight and The Athena Protocol, have been adapted into films, with her films winning 47 international awards. Shamim has also written for the screen, including the cult hit film Despite the Falling Snow, starring Rebecca Ferguson and Charles Dance.
