Saleema Nawaz Books in Order

Saleema Nawaz is a celebrated author and writer, known for her poignant and thought-provoking works of fiction. Her notable publications include the short story collection "Mother Superior" and the novel "Bone and Bread", which won the prestigious 2013 Quebec Writers' Federation Paragraphe Hugh MacLennan Prize for Fiction. Her stories have been featured in various Canadian literary journals, and her short story "My Three Girls" secured the 2008 Writers' Trust of Canada/McClelland & Stewart Journey Prize. A highly accomplished scholar, Nawaz holds a Bachelor of Humanities from Carleton University and an M.A. in English Literature from the University of Manitoba, where her novella "The White Dress" earned the Robert Kroetsch Prize for Best Creative Thesis. Currently, she resides and writes in Montreal, Quebec.
