Ruth Ware is a British author of psychological thrillers, born and raised in the picturesque county of Sussex, England. She graduated from Manchester University and went on to live in Paris, later settling in North London with her family. With a diverse background that includes working as a waitress, bookseller, teacher, and press officer, Ware brings a unique perspective to her writing. As a devoted wife and mother of two, she draws inspiration from her everyday life. Her debut thriller, In a Dark, Dark Wood, marked the beginning of a successful writing career, followed by critically acclaimed novels such as The Woman in Cabin 10 and The Lying Game.
