R.J. Piñeiro Books in Order

R.J. Piñeiro is a multifaceted author and engineer, born in Cuba and raised in Central America amidst the backdrop of civil wars. He migrated to the United States in the late 1970s, first attending Florida Air Academy in Melbourne, where he earned his pilot's license and high school diploma in 1979. Piñeiro went on to earn a degree in electrical engineering from Louisiana State University in 1983, before joining the high-tech industry in Austin, Texas, working in computer chip design, test, and manufacturing. As his passion for storytelling grew, Piñeiro began studying to become a novelist in the late 1980s. He honed his craft by reading classical literature and contemporary novels, eventually launching a writing career on an aging personal computer. Piñeiro's debut novel, SIEGE OF LIGHTNING, was released by Berkley/Putnam in 1993, followed by ULTIMATUM in 1994, published by Forge Books. The two have since collaborated on several projects, including the "Hunter Stark Book Series," which debuted with WITHOUT MERCY in 2017, co-authored with Colonel David Hunt.
