Richard Grant is a celebrated British travel writer, currently residing in Arizona. Born in Malaysia, he spent his childhood in Kuwait before attending school in Hammersmith, London. He earned a history degree from University College, London. After a unconventional start to his career, working as a security guard, janitor, house painter, and club DJ, Grant transitioned to the United States, embracing a nomadic lifestyle in the American West. He ultimately settled in Tucson, Arizona, using it as a base to fuel his travels.
