When not exploring the outdoors or indulging in her love of baseball, she is immersed in crafting mysteries, thrillers, and middle-grade novels. Her childhood summers spent at her family's cabin near Boulder played a pivotal role in shaping the setting for her novel Nephilim: Genesis of Evil. Renée's diverse body of work includes the Reed Ferguson Mystery Series, The Nephilim Trilogy, The Noah Winter YA Adventure Series, and Take Five, a short story collection featuring a Reed Ferguson tale. Her non-fiction book, The Sallie House: Exposing the Beast Within, delves into the dark history of one of America's most haunted houses.
