Phillip DePoy Books in Order

Phillip DePoy is a multifaceted writer, artist, and educator whose work spans the realms of literature, music, and theater. As the creative director of the Maurice Townsend Center for the Performing Arts at the State University of West Georgia, he fosters innovation and artistic expression in his students and community. DePoy's plays have been produced at regional theaters throughout the South, showcasing his mastery of storytelling and dramatic craft. A recipient of numerous grants from esteemed arts organizations, including the National Endowment for the Arts, he has composed scores for notable productions and performed in various jazz and folk bands. As a folklorist, DePoy has collected songs and stories from across Georgia, collaborating with renowned folklorists John Burrison and Joseph Campbell.
