Peter Temple Books in Order

Peter Temple is a highly acclaimed Australian crime fiction writer. As a former journalist and journalism lecturer, he transitioned to fiction writing in the 1990s. Temple's Jack Irish novels, set in Melbourne, Australia, have captivated readers with their unique blend of law and gamblers. This series includes Bad Debts, Black Tide, Dead Point, and White Dog. In addition to the Jack Irish novels, he has written three standalone novels: An Iron Rose, Shooting Star, and In the Evil Day. He is also the author of The Broken Shore and its sequel, Truth. Temple has won numerous awards for his work, including five Ned Kelly Awards for crime fiction, and was the first Australian to receive a Gold Dagger from the Crime Writers' Association for The Broken Shore.
