Paul Yoon is a critically acclaimed novelist and short story writer. Born in New York City, he has established himself as a prominent literary voice. His debut novel, ONCE THE SHORE, was selected as a New York Times Notable Book and a Best Debut of the Year by National Public Radio. His subsequent novel, SNOW HUNTERS, won the 2014 Young Lions Fiction Award, solidifying his reputation as a talented storyteller. Recognized for his contributions to literature, Yoon received the prestigious 5 under 35 Award from the National Book Foundation and a fellowship from the New York Public Library's Cullman Center for Scholars and Writers. Currently, he serves as a Briggs-Copeland Lecturer at Harvard University, alongside his wife, the acclaimed fiction writer Laura van den Berg.
