Patricia Gaffney is a multifaceted author who weaves together the threads of romance, literature, and relationships in her work. Born in Tampa, Florida, and raised in Bethesda, Maryland, she honed her writing skills at Marymount College in Tarrytown, New York, where she earned a bachelor's degree in English and philosophy. She furthered her literary pursuits at Royal Holloway College of the University of London, George Washington University, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After teaching 12th-grade English and freelancing as a court reporter for 15 years, Gaffney turned to fiction, publishing her first historical romance in 1989.
