Pat McIntosh is a Scottish author known for her eclectic background and diverse writing career. Born and raised in Lanarkshire, she discovered her passion for writing at the tender age of seven, crediting the influential author Angus MacVicar as a key inspiration. McIntosh has resided and worked in Glasgow for many years before relocating to the west coast of Scotland. Before establishing herself as a prominent author, she pursued a variety of careers, including librarian, receptionist for an alternative therapy centre, and educator, where she taught geology and palaeontology, as well as tutoring for the Open University. Her multifaceted experiences have undoubtedly influenced her writing and continue to shape her unique voice.
