However, her academic journey took a fascinating turn when she shifted her major to Library Science after her first year of college. This decision led her to earn a Master's degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. For over three decades, Ms. Aidan has worked as a librarian in diverse settings, cultivating a deep understanding of the written word. As the director of Liberty Lake Municipal Library in eastern Washington, she now oversees a vital institution, while also running her own publishing house, Wytherngate Press.
