Norman Mailer Books in Order

Norman Mailer is a celebrated American author, whose innovative and genre-bending style has redefined the boundaries of creative nonfiction. Alongside literary luminaries Truman Capote, Joan Didion, and Tom Wolfe, Mailer is a pioneering figure in the New Journalism movement, which encompasses the essay to the nonfiction novel. A two-time Pulitzer Prize winner and National Book Award recipient, his work has been widely recognized for its literary merit. In 1955, Mailer co-founded The Village Voice with Ed Fancher and Dan Wolf, a groundbreaking arts and politics-oriented weekly newspaper that would go on to become a staple of Greenwich Village culture.
