Nick Drake Books in Order
Nick Drake lives and works in London. As a poet, playwright, and screenwriter, his work spans multiple genres. His debut collection, The Man in the White Suit (Bloodaxe Books, 1999), was a Poetry Book Society Recommendation and won the Forward Prize for Best First Collection in 1999. It was also selected for the Next Generation Poets promotion in 2004. He has since published From The Word Go (Bloodaxe Books, 2007). Drake's projects include a stage adaptation of Philippe Petit's To Reach the Cloud, the screenplay for the Australian film Romulus, My Father, and a trilogy of historical novels, including Nefertiti, shortlisted for the CWA Best Historical Crime Novel. His work is currently being adapted into a TV series by Mammoth Screen. Drake has collaborated on an opera with composer Tansy Davies and director Deborah Warner for ENO. His collection The Farewell Glacier (Bloodaxe Books, 2012) features poems inspired by the Arctic and its voices.
