Niall Williams is a critically acclaimed Irish author and playwright. He holds a Master's degree in Modern American Literature from University College Dublin, where he studied English and French Literature. Williams's writing career spans over three decades, during which he has published numerous bestselling novels and plays. His first play, THE MURPHY INITIATIVE, was staged at The Abbey Theatre in Dublin in 1991, followed by A LITTLE LIKE PARADISE in 1995 and THE WAY YOU LOOK TONIGHT in 1999, produced by Galway's Druid Theatre Company. Williams's novels have gained international recognition, including FOUR LETTERS OF LOVE, an international bestseller published in 1997, and AS IT IS IN HEAVEN, shortlisted for the Irish Times Literature Prize in 1999.
