Nelson DeMille Books in Order

Nelson DeMille is a celebrated American author, born on August 23, 1943, in New York City. He grew up on Long Island, where he excelled in athletics at Elmont Memorial High School. DeMille's life took a dramatic turn when he joined the Army, attending Officer Candidate School and being commissioned a Lieutenant in 1966. He served in Vietnam as an infantry platoon leader with the First Cavalry Division, earning the Air Medal, Bronze Star, and the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry. After his discharge, DeMille returned to Hofstra University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in Political Science and History. He is a prolific author, with his first major novel, By the Rivers of Babylon, published in 1978 and remaining in print to this day. DeMille is a member of esteemed organizations, including American Mensa, The Authors Guild, and International Thriller Writers. He was named ThrillerMaster of the Year in 2015 and holds three honorary doctorates from Hofstra University, Long Island University, and Dowling College.
