Mitch Silver is an acclaimed author and advertising writer, born and raised in Brooklyn, with a childhood on Long Island. A Yale alumnus with a law school stint at Harvard, though brief, laid the groundwork for his inquisitive mind. As a seasoned advertising professional, Silver has made a name for himself at top New York agencies, crediting his creativity with iconic campaigns like Purina O.N.E. dog food. His experiences as European Creative Director for Colgate-Palmolive, coupled with a year living in Paris with his wife Ellen Highsmith Silver, have undoubtedly influenced his writing. The couple resides in Rye, New York, with their two children, Sloane and Perry. Silver's achievements include winning the American Song Festival Lyric Grand Prize for "Sleeping Single in a Double Bed," and he is the author of the critically acclaimed novel, In Secret Service.
