Milly Johnson is a prolific writer, born and raised in Barnsley, where she still resides. She has also spent time studying in Exeter and briefly lived in Haworth, West Yorkshire, in the 1980s. With a diverse background spanning performing arts, education, and business, Milly initially trained as an actress, later exploring careers as a teacher, accountant, and manager in customer services. Her administrative roles took her through various industries, from antique furniture to plastic injection moulded products. Notably, she co-created the popular Purple Ronnie project, penning poems and jokes for the greetings card world, a part-time endeavour that continues to this day. As a novelist, Milly has found her true calling, weaving engaging stories that captivate readers worldwide.
