Michelle Huneven Books in Order

Michelle Huneven is a critically acclaimed author of four novels, known for her nuanced portrayals of the human condition. Born in Altadena, California, she earned her MFA from the esteemed Iowa Writer's Workshop, where she honed her craft alongside fellow writers. Her notable works include Round Rock, Jamesland, Blame, and Off Course, all of which have received widespread critical acclaim and numerous award nominations, including New York Times notable books and National Book Critics Circle Award finalist. Huneven's writing has been recognized with a GE Younger Writers Award and a Whiting Award for Fiction. In addition to her literary achievements, she has also made a name for herself as a food journalist, earning a James Beard award for feature writing with recipes. Currently, she teaches creative writing at UCLA and continues to write about food, living with her loving family in Altadena.
