Michelle Davies is a British author of crime fiction, born in Middlesex in 1972 and raised in Buckinghamshire. Currently residing in north London, she has established a reputation for crafting gripping stories centered around Family Liaison Officer DC Maggie Neville. Her debut novel, Gone Astray, was published in 2016 as part of a two-book deal with Pan Macmillan, followed by Wrong Place. The DC Maggie Neville series continues with the upcoming release of False Witness and a fourth installment planned for 2019. In addition to her fiction work, Davies also excels as a freelance journalist, contributing to prominent women's magazines such as Marie Claire, YOU, and Stylist.
