Michael A. Kahn is a multifaceted author and trial lawyer. By day, he navigates the courtroom, and by night, he crafts engaging novels. This dichotomy began when his wife Margi challenged him to write a book after growing tired of his lukewarm responses to the ones he read. Taking on the challenge, Kahn penned his first novel, GRAVE DESIGNS. As an award-winning author, he has written 10 Rachel Gold novels, including THE DEAD HAND, as well as three stand-alone novels: PLAYED!, THE SIRENA QUEST, and THE MOURNING SEXTON. His writing has garnered praise from notable publications, such as Library Journal and Publishers Weekly. When not writing, Kahn teaches law at Washington University in St. Louis, focusing on censorship and free expression. A devoted family man, he is married to his high school sweetheart and has five children, with five grandchildren.
