Melissa Febos Books in Order
Melissa Febos is a critically acclaimed author of memoir and essays. Her writing career spans over a decade, with notable works including her debut memoir, Whip Smart (2010), and her essay collections, Abandon Me (2017), and Girlhood (2019). Abandon Me was a finalist for the LAMBDA Literary Award and the Publishing Triangle Award, and was named a Best Book of 2017 by several publications. A recipient of numerous fellowships, Febos is a three-time MacDowell Colony fellow and has also received awards from the Bread Loaf Writer's Conference, the Virginia Center for Creative Arts, and the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council. She currently serves as an Associate Professor of Creative Writing at Monmouth University and is a member of the Board of Directors for VIDA: Women in Literary Arts.
