Melissa Febos is a critically acclaimed author of memoir and essays. Her writing career spans over a decade, with notable works including her debut memoir, Whip Smart (2010), and her essay collections, Abandon Me (2017), and Girlhood (2019). Abandon Me was a finalist for the LAMBDA Literary Award and the Publishing Triangle Award, and was named a Best Book of 2017 by several publications.
