Melanie Golding is a writer with a diverse background, having graduated with distinction from the MA in creative writing program at Bath Spa University. She has drawn from her eclectic experiences as a farm hand, factory worker, childminder, and music teacher to inform her writing. Despite the varied paths she has taken, her passion for storytelling has remained a constant thread throughout her life. Golding's writing has gained recognition in recent years, earning her wins and shortlistings in local and national short story competitions. Her debut novel, Little Darlings, has been optioned for screen by Free Range Films, the production company behind the adaptation of My Cousin Rachel.
