Mary Stanton Books in Order

Mary Stanton is a prolific author of fiction and nonfiction works, born in Florida and nurtured by her diverse upbringing in Japan and Hawaii, before returning to the United States to earn a B.A. in Philosophy and Literature from the University of Minnesota. Her writing career spans multiple genres, beginning with the publication of her first novel, <i>The Heavenly Horse from the Outermost West</i>, in 1984, which was followed by a sequel, <i>Piper at the Gates</i>, in 1989. Stanton's versatility has led to the writing of nineteen mystery novels, two adult fantasy novels, and eleven novels for middle-grade readers, including the acclaimed series, The Unicorns of Balinor.
