Mary Lawson Books in Order

Mary Lawson is a Canadian novelist born in 1946 in southwestern Ontario. She spent her childhood in Blackwell, Ontario, a small town situated between Sarnia and Brights Grove. As a distant relative of beloved author L. M. Montgomery, creator of Anne of Green Gables, Lawson's writing career has been influenced by the rich literary heritage of Canada. After graduating from McGill University with a degree in psychology in 1968, Lawson moved to England, where she now resides in Kingston-Upon-Thames, Surrey, with her two grown sons. Her novels, all published by Knopf Canada, are deeply rooted in the landscapes and people of Northern Ontario, showcasing her unique voice and perspective.
