Marie Rutkoski is a New York Times bestselling author renowned for her captivating young adult novels and children's fantasy series. Her critically acclaimed Winner's Trilogy, starting with The Winner's Curse, has solidified her position as a leading voice in the genre. She is also the author of The Shadow Society and The Kronos Chronicles, which includes The Cabinet of Wonders. Rutkoski's next project, a YA duology set in the same world as The Winner's Curse, continues to explore the complexities of her richly imagined world. The Midnight Lie, the first installment of this duology, was published in March 2020. As a professor of Renaissance Drama, children's literature, and fiction writing at Brooklyn College, Rutkoski shares her passion for storytelling with her students.
