Mari Hannah is a bestselling author of crime fiction novels. A former Probation Officer, she turned to writing after a career-ending injury. Her works include the Kate Daniels and Ryan & O’Neil series published by Pan Macmillan, and the Stone & Oliver series published by Orion. Her debut novel, The Murder Wall, originated as a TV pilot for the BBC Drama Development Scheme, later adapted into a drama. The novel won the prestigious Polari First Book Prize. A versatile writer, Mari has also explored scriptwriting and penned a romantic comedy feature film. Her writing has earned her numerous awards, including the Northern Writers' Award for her second novel, Settled Blood, and the Dagger in the Library for her body of work.
