Marc Turner is a Canadian-born author raised in England. He graduated from Lincoln College, Oxford University, with a BA (Hons) in law in 1996. Before dedicating himself to writing full-time, Turner worked part-time for a top ten law firm in London, seeking a better work-life balance. However, it wasn't until his debut epic fantasy novel, When the Heavens Fall, was published that he could focus solely on his craft. Turner's writing is influenced by the works of Steven Erikson and Joe Abercrombie, and is characterised by its fast-paced, multi-threaded narratives and liberal use of humour. He currently resides in Durham, England, with his wife and son, where he continues to craft immersive stories that captivate readers worldwide.
