Mandy Morton is a multi-talented artist who seamlessly transitioned from a successful music career to a thriving writing life. As a songwriter, she penned the basis for six albums during the 1970s and early 1980s, which she toured extensively with her band. Her passion for the arts led her to become a respected freelance arts journalist, specialising in music and theatre documentaries for national and local radio. In addition to her journalistic work, she co-authored the non-fiction theatre book In Good Company. Morton now brings her creative energy to fiction with The No. 2 Feline Detective Agency, a series inspired by her beloved cat, Hettie, which she shares her life with in Cambridge and Cornwall.
