Lorenzo Carcaterra is a highly acclaimed and bestselling author, television writer, and producer. Born and raised in New York's Hell's Kitchen, he began his career as a copy boy for The New York Daily News in 1976, rising through the ranks to become an entertainment reporter. Carcaterra's versatility led him to work as a senior writer for TV-Cable Week and later for a string of start-up publications, including Picture Week and Entertainment Tonight Magazine. He also freelanced for numerous prominent titles, such as The New York Times Sunday Magazine and Ladies Home Journal.
