Leah Thomas crafts stories from a forest retreat and a seaside apartment, balancing the tranquility of nature with the stimulation of the ocean. As a finalist for the 2016 Morris Award, her debut novel BECAUSE YOU'LL NEVER MEET ME set the stage for her subsequent success. Her highly anticipated sequel, NOWHERE NEAR YOU, is now available from Bloomsbury, followed by the release of her third YA science fiction novel, WHEN LIGHT LEFT US, in February. A Clarion 2010 graduate, Thomas's short fiction has been featured in esteemed publications such as Asimov’s, Black Static, and Ideomancer.
