Kimberly King Parsons Books in Order

Kimberly King Parsons is a celebrated author known for her evocative short story collection Black Light, published by Vintage. Longlisted for the 2019 National Book Award and the 2019 Story Prize, Black Light also earned Parsons finalist spots for the Edmund White Award for Debut Fiction, the Texas Institute of Letters Best Work of First Fiction Award, and the Oregon Book Award. Parsons has received fellowships from Columbia University and the Sustainable Arts Foundation, with her fiction featured in esteemed publications such as The Paris Review and Kenyon Review. Currently residing in Portland, OR, Parsons is working on a novel (forthcoming from Knopf), a poignant exploration of Texas, motherhood, and LSD.
